My name is Nick Lemek. I'm Co-Founder and Chief of Operations for Elite Tactical. I run the day to day operations for the company. I wanted to have a concise statement on current events. I wanted it to be thoughtful and meaningful. However, I realized words are words. There's a lot of companies saying a lot of words. I won't say a lot of words. I will say this. Elite Tactical as a company will stand with oppressed peoples against any oppressor. We protect those that need protecting. We stand with the Black Lives Matter movement. We abhor racism and bigotry in any form. We stand with our LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters. We stand with the First Peoples of this continent. Equality and Justice aren't slogans. They are supposed to be the fabric of our nation. We believe in freedom, real freedom, not lip service. We have three guiding principles at Elite: Security, Integrity, Professionalism. We believe in the right for a person to feel secure, we'll fight for that. We believe in doing the right thing, no matter the cost, we'll fight for that. We believe in doing our job- protecting. I will make sure this company always upholds those values, and neither I nor this company will be associated with those that do not. Thank you.

Byron Rodgers: Social Aspects of Executive Protection
Elite Tactical and ASIS International Omaha Chapter are proud to present Executive Protection specialist Byron Rodgers. A US Marine Veteran and one of the leading voices in the Executive Protection business, Byron Rodgers is also a published author and has a Masters in Psychology from North Central University. As the CEO of Bravo Research Group, his mission is the same as it’s always been, “To give clients more than what they pay for and establish relationships that will last a lifetime.” With the grittiness of an infantry Marine and the refinement of a corporate executive protection agent, Byron Rodgers brings a firmness, finesse and an intelligence to the industry that his clients, teammates and employees’ value as well as appreciate.
Byron was kind enough to spend his evening online with us discussing the social aspects of the executive protection industry, his experiences, and to answer some of our questions. Special Thanks to Byron, his company, Bravo Research Group, and ASIS International Omaha Chapter.
Byron once again showed us how to be personable and professional. He is an asset to the security community.
Also, be sure to check out his upcoming Protector Symposium 2.0. Another amazing resource for anyone in the security business.
The "soft touch."
When people think about personal protection or the protection of the business and assets, what comes to mind? Surely no one wants to think about the low paid security guard who doesn’t want to be there, doesn’t have the skills or training and is just there for a paycheck until something better comes along.
When people think of competent protection, they think of the big tough guy. Hundreds of movies and media have told us this is exactly how it is. The “good protection agents” are scary, gruff, mean. Choosing between the incapable and the unapproachable is a ridiculous compromise. A compromise Elite Tactical’s clients don’t have to make.
Security and protection agents need to have both the “hard skills” and the “soft skills” when it comes to providing the absolute pinnacle of service to clients. This is Elite’s business model. This is what we do.
Elite Tactical Agents have the “hard skills.” Close protection, hand to hand combatives, firearm expertise, transport experience, situational awareness, rapid intel-analysis, these are all just the basics our Security and Protection Agents need to have. Honestly, every single person in the security industry should have these skills. If they don’t…let’s be honest, they’re in the wrong business.
Elite Agents take things a step further, to the “white glove” level our clients deserve. Elite Tactical Security and Protection Agents are there to secure you physically, yes; however, the field of security for Elite is much broader. Elite is there to protect your reputation, your financial well-being, your convenience, and to free our clients from worrying “what happens next.” Elite Tactical Security and Protection Agents specialize in the “soft touch,” that’s what sets us apart.
Elite Agents are trained to make sure the client’s needs are met. 24/7. We are trained to be the silent protectors who anticipate our client’s needs. We make sure our client doesn’t wait in hotel lobbies, we make sure business owners come out to meet them. We can make sure our client can count on us to move their assets anywhere in the country quickly, discreetly, and professionally.
The "hard skills" keep your client and their assets safe, but the "soft skills" are what makes the difference. When you hire Elite Tactical to protect your assets, business, or person, we use the highest level of personnel to protect you physically, protect your reputation, protect your convenience, and protect you from worrying what happens next. Intelligence and logistics analysts, security specialists, military and medical specialists, law enforcement officers, people who have worked all over the world, here for you. That's what we do. The whole package. Perfection is the standard.
